It's the time of the year when everyone has made one or more resolution for the new year 2007. Obese people are on a diet, smokers have quit fags, students are studying, parents are spending more quality time with their kids and so on and so forth. But let me remind you that it's just the second day of the year!
This year is a crucial year for me since in two months time I'll be a dad for the first time. So my most important resolution for this year is to definately find or create time for my (our) newborn and wife. At least I have to manage to stick to this resolution even though I have never managed to stick to my new year's resolutions and no matter how hard I tried I would go back to the same routine after a month or so. If I had to make some other resolutions for the coming year they would be these (Please note the bold If I had to...):- be on time for work, meetings, training sessions and everything I do.
- spend less time on online football management games.
- be more tolerant with my mother in law.
- manage my road rage better.
- wash my car more often (at least once a month).
- be less arrogant with arrogant people.
- try to read and write more.
- give in my reports and tasks on time.
- answer my important emails on time.
- try to go to mass on Sunday.
I've been working on some of these for the past decade or so.... but I have never succeeded. Maybe 2007 is my lucky year.....no I'm sure 2007 is my lucky year and I'll be a better man.
